Rainman StreamFlow Version 4
Rainfall information for better management
The current version is 4.3+ (0489).
The plus signifies that your version can now analyse all climate elements (e.g. maximum or minimum temperature) should you have access to this data.
Attention Rainman users! When updating monthly rainfall data through the Internet,
you will need to change the URL address under [Preferences] from nrme to nrw.
This follows the name change in the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (NRM) to Natural Resources and Water (NRW)
To change the URL, start Rainman, go to File > Preferences and check the [User defined data updating Internet site] option.
The new User defined data updating Internet site is www.nrw.qld.gov.au/silo/Rainman3update/

Updating monthly data
Monthly rainfall and predictor data, and maps, can be updated automatically over the Internet for no charge. Data is usually available after about the tenth day of the following month. Due to changes in the names of government departments and to increased Internet security, the automatic links in Rainman Version 3.3 no longer function. Instructions for updating data when the automatic function does not operate are attached.
Version 4.3.0489 has a new install program after problems arose with the extra security features of Microsoft Service Pack II and some anti-virus software. This install is based on the proprietary Wise program. If you purchase a new computer and have problems installing your earlier version of Rainman to the new PC, please contact us.
