Main crops
The following crops are major contributors to the Queensland economy. In many cases, DPI&F is heavily involved with industry by supporting research and industry development, and by protecting these industries from pest and disease threats.
- Asian vegetables
- Brassica (including broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprout, radish)
- Capsicum/chilli
- Cucurbit (including pumpkin, cucumber, choko, zucchini, gourd)
- Ginger
- Green bean
