Contacts for pest and disease reporting

Are you suspicious about an animal or plant disease? Or a potential pest species? Please take one of the following actions.

(1) Call the DPI&F on Telephone 13 25 23
The DPI&F staff will be able to find the right information for you.

(2) Call your local Biosecurity office (see below)

(3) Call Animal Disease Watch Hotline -- 1800 675 888

The HOTLINE is designed to assist with early recognition and response to emergency animal diseases only.

This 24-hour seven-day-a-week service is staffed by Biosecurity animal disease experts. This same free-call number operates anywhere within Australia and may be used to notify of suspicious animal disease occurrences in your animals.
