This guide will help you to get the right person to help you solve your animal problem or find information about particular animal situations.

Look in the boxes below under the topic and then telephone the statewide number provided or go to the websites provided for information and regional contact numbers in Queensland.

Notes:

  • RSPCA Business Information Centre, 1300 852 188, operates 24 hours for the whole state of Queensland.  N.B. after about 7.00 p.m. calls will divert from the Business Information Centre to a single operator for after-hours service.
  • Depending where you live, the Yellow Pages ® Directory entry may have a different heading to those given here.  Some services are not available in some areas.

Reporting cruelty to animals including:

  • suspected cruelty to animals
  • animals not being properly cared for
  • deliberately abandoned animals
  • suspected deliberate baiting or poisoning (other than officially declared feral or pest animal control)
  • suspected use of animal in an illegal activity where they will suffer (e.g. a cock fight or dog fight)
